Sandy came one Autumn eve.

With a fury you just could not believe.

Her anger felt by countless souls.

Where houses stood there now are holes.

 

So thank you ma’am. You’ve had your time.

You’ve come and gone, through rubble we now climb.

A trail of tears, and a sun that will shine

We’re subject to the Natural Forces.

We’ll recover from the losses.

 

Glued to the TV the morning of.

Managed to converse when push came to shove.
